Model United Nation

What is Model United Nations (MUN)?

MUN is the abbreviation of, or short for Model United Nations, also known as Model UN, an academic activity rising up in recent years.

Simulating the United Nations, students take part in the conference as delegates of every nation, chairs(dais team), and pages(ushers).

By negotiating, cooperating, and debating, delegates come up with a comprehensive draft resolution(DR) and work the issue out.
Through the conference, you can sharpen your English speaking, writing skills, critical thinking, learning leadership and teamwork, broadening your horizon.

MUN Conferences: Uniting Minds, Inspiring Change

We aim to attend two conferences a year.  Each conference is a model of the UN assemblies.  As a conference approaches we use club time to prepare country and topic research for the issues to be debated.
These conferences mirror the authentic UN assemblies and provide our students with incredible opportunities to connect and engage with like-minded individuals from around the world.

MUN offers an unparalleled platform for students to develop their leadership, public speaking, and negotiation skills.

Part of CAS: Active participation in this club is also recognized as valid for the CAS project and CAS Experience. Students will thus have the opportunity to add the hours, reflections, and experiences gained through this enriching extracurricular activity to their CAS Journal.
